Welcome to our April Newsletter. We will update you monthly with our newsletter, so please feel free to offer any comments or suggestions!!
Observations – Our quarterly observations on all the children will be complete at the end of April. Rachel will speak with you if we have any particular concerns, but in the meantime if would like to talk with Rachel about your child please do.
Also could we kindly ask parents if their child is not coming into crèche or going on holidays to let us know.
As your child progresses throughout the crèche we encourage independence and self care. In the toddler room we encourage children to put on their own shoes, so please bare this in mind when buying clothing. Children can not manage laces but with some help can manage Velcro on their shoes. In pre-school we encourage each child to put on, remove and hang up their own hats coats and gloves. In Monti we encourage each child to open and close their own coats etc, zippers are easier than buttons at first.
In wobber news, sadly Tanya will not be returning to Jellystone when her maternity leave finishes. She will however be providing holiday cover work for us on occasion. We will be appointing someone shortly to this position, but in the meantime Tanya and Paula will be bridging the gap.
