Pre-school starts at approximately 3 years. This is a very exciting time for both child’s and parent as Pre-schoolers are at the stage of discovery. They are independent and curious as to why and how things work. Our pre-school carer develops each child’s reading, writing and numeracy through our extensive curriculum and development programmes.
Our Pre-School room is in keeping with our high quality standards at Jellystone. Offering a safe and colourful learning environment for your child.
Our aim is to provide the children with a sound educational grounding and to ensure they enter school happy and confident.
We keep observation files on all the children which are available when requested. We also share with parents on a daily basis an overview of your childs day at Jellystone –
- What your child had for breakfast
- What activities they enjoyed during the day
- such as garden time, play time.
- What creative activities they took part in during the day – jigsaws, painting, colouring, learning about something new
- What your child hard for lunch – how much did they eat
At Jellystone we aim to provide you with a full picture of your child’s day. We give daily verbal feedback reports, and monthly written reports at to your child’s progress. Our friendly staff are always available to discuss any aspect of your child’s development or activities with you. We pride ourselves on our quality services standards.
