Barnardos Santa Stroll – Walk for a good Claus

It’s the Barnardos Santa Stroll and we need you to walk for a good Claus!

Join us and a sea of Santa’s, at 1.30pm on Sunday 16th December for a festive family walk on Dun Laoghaire’s East Pier!  Known as ‘Irelands most walked walk’, we’re asking you to take your Sunday walk on this famous pier to help change the lives of vulnerable children.

Santa Claus has kindly lent us hundreds of his (large!) spare suits to keep us warm as we walk the pier and everyone gets a Barnardos medal for taking part!  Don’t forget to dress up your little elves, buggy’s and pets to be in with a chance to win some great spot prize’s on the day too.  Most importantly wrap up warm as we’ll be Santa Strolling by the sea!

Dun Laoghaire’s Christmas Festival will be in full swing too, so there will be plenty for all the family after our walk including a magical fireworks display at 5pm.  (More details at www.dunlaoghaire.ie)
