November Newsletter

Welcome to our news letter for November 2012. We will update you monthly with our newsletter, so please feel free to offer any comments or suggestions!!

Just a reminder to all our parents, all classrooms are together from 8-9am each day, after 9am each class is separated. Pre-school have their circle time and free play after dinner before the children rejoin the other groups in preparation for home time at 1pm. And again in the evenings all classrooms merge at 4.45 – 5.00 in preparation for home time.

If English is not your first language or you are raising your child bilingually, we would love if you could give us some words that your child is familiar with, this could make it easier for your child in the transition from home to school.

Wobbler & Toddler children, we would ask parents to try and walk their children into the crèche in the mornings to highlight their independence at this stage of their development. Also if you are planning on toilet training your child, please talk to Rachel a few weeks in advance, so we can all work together to make the transition as easy as possible for your child.

Our Halloween Party was on Wednesday 31st October, it was great fun, and the children while somewhat cautious at first really enjoyed it. Check out our pics!!

And in other great news, I would like you to join with me and congratulate Rachel on qualifying in her Fetac Level 6 Childcare Major award. Well done to Rachel who was attending college and doing all the assignments while working full time in Jellystone. Hipp Hipp Horray to Rachel.

Parent Participation – we didn’t ask but ……….

If you would like to come and share something with us that you and the children would enjoy we’d love to hear from you, so please talk to Rachel. We are being deliberately vague on the but…. bit as we don’t want to limit your suggestions.

Many thanks, from Rachel and all the staff @ Jellystone park!!!
